Supplier RFQ Readiness Checklist

Before you send a calender roll RFQ to any supplier — Zejiang included — check off what you already have ready. The more boxes checked, the faster you’ll get a quote you can actually act on instead of a placeholder estimate.

I know my roll diameter and face length (or can measure the existing roll)

I have a machine drawing, OEM part reference, or photo with visible dimensions

I know (or can describe) the paper grade this roll runs

I’ve asked prospective suppliers what material class/hardness standard they build to

I’ve asked how they verify roundness/run-out before shipment

I know who my technical point of contact would be after installation

I’ve described the symptoms (if any) I’m trying to solve, not just “replace the roll”
