Get in touch with Zejiang Paper Machinery Company
A manufacturer working out of China’s oldest paper machinery cluster
Henan Zejiang Paper Machinery Co., Ltd. manufactures and supplies paper making machines, pulp processing equipment and paper machine spare parts. We are based in Henan — one of China’s main industrial manufacturing regions — and we work with paper mills, tissue converters, packaging paper producers and recycling plants.
Our range covers complete production lines for kraft paper, corrugated paper, testliner, duplex board, tissue, cultural and specialty paper. We also supply the components that wear out first: dryer cylinders, press rolls, vacuum rolls, couch rolls, headboxes, pulpers, screen baskets, agitators, felt rolls and custom-made mill parts.
Over the years we have shipped equipment and spare parts to customers in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America. Our engineering team works on the same three things every time: keep the line running, hold paper quality steady, and bring the cost per tonne down.
New machines
Complete production lines
Sized to your paper grade, output target and web width — from stock preparation and the headbox through the forming, press and drying sections to the reel.
Used machines
Inspection, refit and rebuild
We inspect, repair, upgrade and re-commission second-hand paper machines and mill components, so an existing asset gets more service life instead of being scrapped.
Spare parts
OEM replacement and retrofit
Dryer cylinders, Yankee dryers, press and vacuum rolls, headboxes, pulper rotors, screen baskets and pressure screens — machined to your existing machine drawings.
What we can machine in-house
Roll and shaft turning on the large lathe line, Qinyang works.
Our workshop runs machining centres, large lathes for rolls and shafts, milling and boring machines, welding and forming equipment, dynamic balancing and inspection instruments. That combination is what lets us cut a dryer cylinder journal, a press roll shell and a headbox slice under one roof rather than sub-contracting the work out.
Quality control runs the whole way through — raw material selection, machining, assembly, final inspection. Every component is tested before it leaves the works, because a part that fails in a mill costs the customer far more than the part itself.

Five things every mill checks — and how we answer them
Buying a paper machine is not a catalogue purchase. These are the questions our customers put to us before anything is signed, and the answers we are expected to put in writing.
Capacity and technical specification
Output in tonnes per day, operating speed in m/min, grammage range in gsm, web width. For spare parts the equivalent is dimensional accuracy, compatibility with your existing machine, and material grade. Without clear figures no deal should move forward, so we put ours on paper first.
Build quality and material durability
The single biggest long-term cost driver. On new machines: frame rigidity, bearing quality, dryer cylinder casting grade. On parts: material composition (304 vs 316 stainless, high-chrome cast iron, polyurethane), hardness in HRC, surface treatment. On used equipment: the actual mechanical condition — roll journal scoring, gearbox backlash, corrosion level — not cosmetic appearance.
Automation level and control system
This decides your labour cost and your output consistency. PLC brand (Siemens, ABB, Delta), servo versus mechanical drive, touchscreen HMI, and whether the controls are still supported by the vendor. On a used machine an obsolete control system can write off an otherwise sound asset.
Parts availability and after-sales support
On new machines: installation, commissioning and warranty terms. On parts: stock status, lead time, and whether the supplier can handle an emergency order while a mill is down. On used equipment: are the critical wear parts still being manufactured. Without a predictable parts pathway, the purchase price is irrelevant.
Total cost of ownership, not purchase price
Steam tonnes per tonne of paper, kW per hour, maintenance intervals, spare parts inventory cost, downtime risk and expected service life. A cheaper machine that burns 20% more steam costs more over ten years than a better one. We would rather show you that calculation than lose you to it later.

From the first drawing to the tenth year of running
Stage 01
Before the order
We start from your furnish — waste paper or wood pulp — your paper grade and your output target. From there: process design, investment and budget analysis, comparable reference projects, and a factory visit whenever you want to see the work yourself.
Stage 02
Manufacturing and delivery
Production with in-process quality monitoring and progress reporting, drawing handover, packing and shipping arrangement, logistics coordination, on-site installation guidance, then commissioning and trial production until the line is making paper.
Stage 03
After start-up
Spare parts supply, remote and on-site technical support, operator and maintenance training, and equipment upgrades or rebuilds as your grades, speed or capacity change.
Talk to us
Send us your grade, output target and furnish. We will come back with a specification.
New line, second-hand machine or a single replacement roll — tell us what the mill needs to do and we will tell you what it takes, including the parts you will be buying again in five years.
